Project Overview

The Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution is a national-level military and revolutionary heritage museum. The building spans multiple levels from the basement floor to the fourth floor and includes dozens of exhibition areas, such as large weaponry exhibition halls, revolutionary war galleries, the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea exhibition zone, military technology experience areas, red-themed art and calligraphy galleries, multifunctional auditoriums, and temporary exhibition halls. The museum serves multiple functions, including patriotic education programs, guided tours, cultural relic exhibitions, large-scale educational activities, and fire safety management. With exhibition halls distributed across different floors and areas, the venue places extremely high demands on quiet operation, directional audio guidance, and comprehensive emergency broadcasting control.

The project deployed a complete FLB IP Network Public Address System, specifically designed to meet the requirements of multi-level, multi-gallery museum and cultural exhibition venues, effectively addressing key operational challenges:

1. Refined Multi-Zone Management Across Multiple Exhibition Halls: Based on the IP digital architecture, independent broadcast zones are established according to the layout of each floor and exhibition area, including the aircraft and weaponry hall, revolutionary history gallery, oil painting exhibition area, auditorium, outdoor passages, and logistics zones. The main weaponry exhibition hall can continuously play educational content introducing military equipment, while the red-themed calligraphy and painting gallery operates at a lower volume level to maintain a quiet viewing environment. Audio in different exhibition halls remains independent, ensuring a diverse and comfortable visitor experience without mutual interference.

2. Zoned Audio Guides for Patriotic Education Programs: The system supports targeted audio broadcasting within designated zones, allowing educational groups to independently activate historical commentary in specific revolutionary-themed exhibition areas without broadcasting throughout the entire museum. In daily operation, the system can automatically play visitor guidelines and introductions to revolutionary culture on a scheduled loop, meeting the needs of both large numbers of individual visitors and organized educational tour groups.

3. Balanced Noise Control for Art Galleries and Public Area Announcements: Volume levels are carefully controlled in the oil painting and red-themed art galleries to prevent excessive noise from disrupting the viewing experience. Meanwhile, visitor guidance announcements and restroom directions can be broadcast normally in high-traffic areas such as the weaponry hall and entrance zones, enabling layered audio management between busy public spaces and quiet exhibition galleries.

4. Tiered Emergency Broadcasting Integrated with Fire Safety Systems: The system is connected to the museum’s fire alarm system and can activate emergency broadcasts by floor and zone in the event of an emergency. Cultural relic exhibition halls can prioritize evacuation instructions for visitors while simultaneously delivering security reminders related to valuable exhibits, ensuring both visitor safety and compliance with the special protection requirements of museum collections.

5. Centralized Operation and Maintenance Management Across Multiple Floors: The complete broadcasting system, including broadcast servers, amplifiers, and decoding devices, is centrally deployed in standardized equipment racks. Operation and maintenance personnel can remotely manage and monitor all audio points throughout the museum from the central control room, while conducting unified inspections of system status. With multiple floors and widely distributed exhibition areas, centralized management significantly reduces maintenance complexity and inspection workload, ensuring reliable operation for the museum’s year-round public access.

The complete IP Public Address System provides full coverage across all exhibition halls and public areas throughout every floor of the Military Museum. In daily operation, the system supports regular playback of revolutionary-themed commentary and visitor guidance in designated exhibition halls, ensuring that the quiet atmosphere of art galleries remains undisturbed by educational broadcasts in the weaponry halls. During holiday periods and peak visitor traffic, targeted announcements help guide visitor flow and optimize touring routes. In emergency situations, tiered broadcasting supports both personnel safety and cultural relic protection. The system can also be flexibly expanded with additional audio points to accommodate new temporary exhibitions and future exhibition areas. With standardized hardware delivering stable and reliable long-term performance, the solution is well suited to the museum’s year-round public operation requirements, supporting more refined and intelligent management of patriotic education and exhibition services.
