Hangzhou Tower is located in the core Wulin commercial district of Hangzhou, adjacent to West Lake. As a premium commercial complex featuring luxury brands such as LV, CHANEL, and PRADA, it consists of multiple commercial buildings including Blocks A and B. The complex covers diverse spaces such as luxury retail stores, central atrium areas, outdoor street plazas, parking areas, indoor corridors, and back-office facilities. With significant fluctuations in visitor traffic throughout the day, the high-end retail environment has strict requirements for background music quality, zoned noise control, visitor guidance, and emergency announcements. The solution needs to balance commercial ambience, a quiet and comfortable shopping experience, and comprehensive safety management.
The project deployed a complete set of FLB IP Network Public Address System equipment, tailored to the refined operational needs of high-end commercial complexes and designed to effectively address key challenges in commercial district management:
1. Multi-Zone Independent Audio Control for Premium Retail Environments: Based on the IP digital architecture, the system divides luxury retail stores, atriums, outdoor plazas, parking areas, and logistics passages into independent audio zones. Brand stores can play soft background music to enhance the premium atmosphere, while atriums can broadcast promotional information and event announcements. Outdoor areas and parking facilities have independent volume control, ensuring that audio from different zones does not interfere with each other and maintaining a quiet and elegant shopping environment for luxury retail customers.
2. High-Fidelity Audio Quality Matching Premium Commercial Ambience: The complete system is equipped with high-quality audio terminals, delivering soft and refined vocals with rich and layered background music. It perfectly complements the sophisticated atmosphere of luxury shopping malls, avoiding noise and distortion that may affect the customer experience, while meeting the high standards of premium commercial environments for exceptional audio quality.
3. Time-Based Automated Operation Matching Commercial Hours: The system provides preset playback schedules for different time periods. During business hours, it automatically plays style-matched background music and friendly shopping guidance announcements. Before closing, scheduled clearance notifications are broadcast, while volume can be reduced or muted during non-business hours. This operation mode adapts to the mall’s daily business rhythm and reduces manual intervention.
4. Dual Protection with Visitor Flow Guidance and Tiered Fire Emergency Response: During peak periods such as holidays, targeted announcements can be delivered in crowded areas including plazas and atriums to guide visitor diversion and optimize traffic flow. In emergencies such as fires, zoned emergency broadcasting can be activated with priority given to evacuation instructions. Broadcast content can be differentiated between customer areas and logistics passages, ensuring both customer safety and orderly operation in premium commercial environments.
5. Centralized Control Room Operation and Maintenance for Multi-Building Management: All broadcast hosts and amplifier equipment are integrated and installed in centralized racks. Staff can manage all audio terminals across Buildings A and B from the central control room, including remote volume adjustment and equipment fault diagnosis. Even with distributed audio points across multiple buildings, the system enables convenient maintenance and inspection, ensuring long-term stable operation for the mall’s 24/7 business environment.
The complete IP Public Address System fully covers all commercial spaces of Hangzhou Tower, supporting full-scenario operations for a premium shopping center. In daily operations, zoned audio creates an immersive luxury shopping atmosphere while maintaining a quiet environment in retail stores and providing convenient announcements in public areas. During holidays and peak periods, the system efficiently guides visitor flow and helps relieve congestion pressure in the Wulin commercial district. In emergency situations, it enables rapid safety alerts across the entire complex.
